Dr. Casteel grew up in Mission Viejo, CA. She completed her undergraduate studies at UCLA and attended University of Southern California (USC) School of Dentistry, where she graduated with OKU Honors. After completing dental school, Dr. Casteel completed a 4-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at UCSF Fresno Medical Education Program. During her residency, she received full-scope training and developed a passion for dentoalveolar surgery, orthognathic surgery, pathology, and facial trauma reconstruction. Upon graduation, she was awarded the prestigious Leon S. Peters Resident of the Year Award, given to one resident across all disciplines.
Prior to joining our practice, Dr. Casteel worked in private practice in the central coast of California, where she practiced full-scope oral and maxillofacial surgery, including complex dental implant surgery, facial trauma, exodontia, and orthognathic surgery. In addition, she specialized in providing high quality care to pediatric and special needs populations.
In her free time, Dr. Casteel enjoys snowboarding, CrossFit, yoga, hiking, running, and anything outdoors. She is excited to relocate to Arizona with her husband, daughter, and their golden retriever.
